Switching one or all
In order to standardize theater lighting the Digital Multiplex Signal (DMX) was developed. Since it’s introduction the DMX Light Switch has enabled manufactures world wide to meet the same standards and produce equipment that is compatible. When more than one DMX devise must be connected to a controller it is a simple matter to connect the devises together with DMX or XLR cable. The controller can be set up to address all lights together or the individual “addresses” of each light can be entered and the controller will send a separate and distinct signal to each address. In this way, lights, dimmers and fog machines can all be controlled by the same DMX controller.
