Pets Without The Mess - A Good Idea?
The advertising slogan for Zhu Zhu pets is “pets without the mess” - and it seems to be working very well. These motorized hamsters are absolutely flying off the shelves - kids love them and, possibly because of the lack of mess (and smell), adults seem happy enough to indulge their children’s wishes. However, one of the (many) beneficial things about getting your kid a pet is the fact that they will learn a little about responsibility. They will enjoy playing with their dog, cat, hamster, whatever but they will realise that it’s a two way street - that they need to actually care for their pet, feed it, water it, clean up after it etc.
