Solar Energy Can Save Electricity
For anyone wondering, Solar Energy can be turned into electricity in two different ways. First, through solar cells which directly change sunlight into electricity. These systems are used in remote locations where electricity is not available. They are also used to power simple things like calculators, road signs and watches. Solar power plants also generate electricity. They do this by collecting solar thermal power and using it to heat a liquid that steams. The steam powers the generator. 10 of these generators are located in California and five are in Arizona. It would be great if they could be located everywhere, but the statistics are still being studied.
