Picture of An Acai Berry
If you want to know what an acai berry looks like, there is a big picture of the acai berry on the Acai Berry Products website at www.acaiberryproducts.org. The picture is oversize and is not to scale. The actual acai berry is much smaller than the picture, of course.
The acai berry is only the size of a grape, about an inch at the most in diameter. You can see the color of the acai berry from the picture.
The berry is deep purple because of the presence of anthocyanins but sometimes it can look brown or even black depending on the berry itself.
