Stock market investing advice will always be relegated to a specific window in time. Understand that like their recommendations, many of the gurus make recommendations in the height of their success. Typically those supposed advisors that you see on television have a lifetime success rate that is ultimately dismal.
Just because an individual makes a successful call does not in any way shape or form mean they are qualified for future investment choices. Warren Buffet is about the best that there has ever been, and even he has made a few bad calls. As investors age, their touch with the market will slide and they will be more unrealiable.
