How Can a Car Run on Water?

Water Powered Cars is the car of the future.  There is still a lot of controversy on how this is going to work.  The process of electrolysing the water is a complicated process but here is how it works.

First a battery passes a current of electricity thru the water tank that will separate the water into hydrogen and oxygen.  This process is already used in some industrial situations so it isn’t impossible.  Two electrodes have to be placed in the water so the hydrogen can collect on one end and the oxygen can collect on the other.  The idea is for the hydrogen to be burned in the car during combustion that would produce the energy to power most cars.  Most supporters of this type of fuel believe that hydrogen can provide twice the amount of energy than gasoline.

This sounds like a great theory.  I hope to see this in the future but there is much more research and development to happen before this can become a reality.
